FAQs

Am I locked into a contract?

No. We know that managing your work and childcare needs is an ongoing, dynamic balancing act. There is a 30-day notice period for ceasing childcare or reducing regular days.

Why is there a bond for the childcare?

There is a bond of two weeks’ fees payable upon receiving an offer of a permanent childcare place at Happy Hubbub. The bond secures your child’s place at Happy Hubbub and preferred days / sessions. The bond is refunded when the child ceases care, or may be used to pay the final weeks’ fees. The bond (or part thereof) may be retained by Happy Hubbub if a family is unable to pay any outstanding fees. The bond is nonrefundable if a family chooses not to take up their place.

What do I need to bring to the Hubbub?

For your child: sufficient nappies, wipes, a change of clothes, sun hat or jacket (seasonal), water bottle or prepared bottles of formula/EBM. Breastfeeding mums are welcome to use our comfy nursing chair in the childcare at any time.
For you: your laptop and charger. That is it!

Will I be disturbed by other people’s children?

No! The childcare and coworking areas are separate: there are no kids wandering through the coworking space. And the outdoor play area is located away from concentrating coworkers.

Can I leave the premises?

Absolutely, we are a fully licensed childcare provider and you are under no obligation to remain on-site.

I do not need the coworking. Can I still use Hubbub childcare?

Yes, you can. Use of a hot-desk is free when your child is in Hubbub childcare, but it’s entirely up to you how often you utilise it. We understand that your coworking needs will wax and wane over the course of your child’s early years.

I do not need the childcare. Can I still use the coworking space?

Yes, of course! See the Coworking fees and packages.

Best Start. Best Life.
